Fall Show

Fall Show – November 2011

The Fall Show will be held Nov 10 – Dec 19 at the Stillwater Community Center (8th and Duck)

This is not a juried show.

Drop-off date – Wednesday, Nov 9, 2011 – between 3:00 and 6:00 PM
Pick-up date – Dec 19, 2011

General Rules

  • Only paid members of the Stillwater Art Guild may submit work, but you may join at the same time you drop off your art for the show.
  • Maximum three (3) works per member, regardless of medium
  • Original artwork only.
    • “Original” means the work may NOT be sourced from copyrighted material: published photos or prints from a magazine, book, art publication, or art work of another person.
    • Work must be the entering artist’s original concept, design, style, and fabrication.
    • FAMILY FRIENDLY, please. NO NUDES.
  • Class work is acceptable (Fall Show only)
    • If multiple artists created work based on the same still life, each can submit their work to the fall show
  • All exhibiting artists must sign the artist entry form; failure to do so shall immediately disqualify the artist from participating.
  • Decisions of the Show Committee and Judges are final.

Display Requirements

  • Minimum size: 8×10″ (excluding frame)
  • Maximum size: 24×36″ (excluding frame)
  • Frames must use wire for hanging, no sawtooth attachments
    • Attach wire 1/3 down from the top of the frame
  • Glass (for 2D work)
    • Watercolor, pastel, photography and digital art must be framed under glass/plexiglass
    • If photography or digital art is printed on canvas, glass & matboard are optional
  • All artwork must be signed

  • Children – under 13

  • Adult- over age 18, and further categorized as:

    • Intermediate
