Our annual Spring Show is probably the biggest event we have. This year was no exception — we had new things, but one curious omission.

The first new thing was that Lynn Schwartz offered a walkthrough of the entire show, and discussed all of the work with us.

This was the first year that the Dorothy Harrison cup was not presented by Stuart Harrison. New opportunities emerged, and Stuart recently moved to a different state. We wish him the best, but without Stuart Harrison presenting the Harrison award (named after his late mother), it did add a layer of confusion to the show. Last month however, Stuart contacted us and recommended that Jason Wallace take his place as the judge of the photography part of the show, and subsequently the presenter for the Dorothy Harrison Cup. Due to the nature of the award, we will not be renaming it, but we might rotate the presenter. We’ll see.

Overall, the Spring Show was another success!

Stop by the Stillwater Community Center (at 8th and Duck St.) to see all of the work. The show will continue until March 31, 2011.
